答 ｜ 怕，而且窗边是最不建议的位置。纸张纤维在紫外线下会发黄变脆，染色剪纸的颜料久晒会褪。想挂就挂在避光的内墙，建议配框并加防紫外线的玻璃或亚克力；已经装框的，避免西晒墙面。不挂时平放在无酸纸袋或册页里，防潮防虫，不要长期卷放。

问 ｜ 线上看到"大师作品"，怎么判断是不是本人做的？

答 ｜ 看三条。一看能不能说清工序，真正的本人作品能讲出材料、道数与耗时，代工货往往只强调名头；二看痕迹，手工有微小差异，一批几十件长得一模一样的"作品"要打问号；三看凭据，正规渠道会写明作者、产地与是否手工完成，含糊其辞的多半不踏实。价格明显低于同类的手工品，也要多问一句为什么。

问 ｜ 送长辈一件非遗手作，选什么不容易出错？

答 ｜ 优先选"能用、好养、有说头"的三条都占的。日用类的漆器小盒、织锦小件、手工茶器都合适，既拿得出手，也不用特殊维护；避免送需要避光防潮、养护门槛高的品类，除非对方本来就是爱好者。尺寸宜小不宜大，方便摆放；附带讲清是谁做的、怎么做的，这件礼物的分量就在这一句里。

It does, and a window is the least advisable place. Under ultraviolet light paper fibre yellows and turns brittle, and the pigment in dyed paper-cuts fades with long exposure. Hang it on an interior wall away from light, best framed behind UV-filtering glass or acrylic, and avoid west-facing walls. When not displayed, store it flat in an acid-free sleeve or album, protected from damp and insects; do not keep it rolled for long periods.

How can you tell whether a "master's work" online was made by that person?

Three checks. Can the process be described: genuine work by the person accounts for material, number of stages and time taken, while subcontracted pieces tend to lean on the name alone. Look at the traces: handwork carries small variations, so a batch of dozens of identical pieces raises a question. Look for documentation: reputable channels state maker, origin and whether the piece is hand-completed; vagueness is a warning. And if the price sits well below comparable handwork, ask why.

What heritage piece is safest to give an elder?

Choose something that is usable, easy to care for, and has a story. Small lacquer boxes, woven silk accessories and hand-made tea ware all work: presentable without demanding special care. Avoid pieces that need darkness or humidity control and a high maintenance threshold, unless the recipient is already a collector. Err small rather than large so it can be placed easily, and include who made it and how; that sentence carries most of the gift's weight.

Three that are not negotiable. The origin must be genuine: only true heritage handwork. The maker must be clear: only work with the bearers themselves. The process must hold up: finished by hand, nothing from a production line. Form and origin may vary, a Suzhou panel, a Pingyao box, silver from a Miao village, but machine-made equivalents do not pass the selection.

The three questions look unrelated and land in the same place: establish where a thing comes from, then what it fears. Origin decides whether it is worth buying; temperament decides how long it lasts. Asking one more question before buying saves a great deal of trouble afterwards.
